Sectioning

Section cuts through objects using a cutting plane. This lets you see details inside the object.

  1. Click and drag to draw a line showing where to cut through the product.
    The cutting plane appears, revealing the inside details of the object at the location of the cut.
  2. You can manipulate the cutting plane in several ways:
    To...Do this...
    Rotate the plane Drag its edges.
    Translate the plane Drag its center.
    Reverse the cutting direction Select the cutting plane and click Reverse .
    Delete the plane Click Delete .

The section remains until you delete it, or until you create another section.
