Bill of Materials Charts

The Engineering Parts widget in Engineering BOM Management includes a charting feature that helps illustrate attributes of parts and parts lists. You can view how many parts there are for a specific state, type, organization, or lead time. To view, click the BOM Chart view icon.

Parts Grouped by State

This pie chart illustrates the breakdown of the states of all the parts in the BOM. It indicates how many parts are in the In Work, Frozen, Approved, and Released states. Hover your mouse over each slice in the chart to display the item count and organization information for each state.

BOM Grouped by Type

This chart shows how many parts of various types have been bought or made. Types can include molded, machined, electrical, mechanical, and other types. You can include or exclude data by clicking on the values in the horizontal bar below the column chart.

Parts Grouped by Lead Time

This bar chart shows the lead times indicated in the BOM and how many parts there are for each one. For example, the chart may show 12 parts have a lead time of 14 days while 10 parts have a lead time of 17 days.

Parts Grouped by Organization

This shows how many parts are owned by different organizations such as departments or companies.
