Editing Proposed Changes

As the owner of a change object, you can edit data on its Proposed Changes page. You can update values for Requested Change, Change Description, and Target Start Date. You can also make changes individually within table cells.

This page is not available for PUE ECOs.


Before you begin:

Access the Proposed Changes page for a change object. See Proposed Changes Page.

About CR/CO Proposed Changes
  1. From the page toolbar, click Enable Edit to switch to Edit mode. The toolbar command switches to Disable Edit so you can switch back to View mode.

    Editable cells contain a black mark in the upper-left corner of the cell. You can click in any marked cell and make individual changes.

    Or

    Use the following instructions to make mass changes.

  2. From the Mass Update list, select one of the columns: Requested Change, Change Description, Target Start Date, Field Return, In Field, In Process, In Stock, on Order.
  3. A form opens where you can select or enter a value for the mass change. Select the value you want to apply:

    Field Description
    Requested Change Select a value from the list: For Obsolescence, For Release, For Minor Revise
    Target Start Date Click to select a start date.
    Change Description Enter a description in the field.

  4. To apply the value to all parts listed, click one of the following: Apply to all.

    Or

    To apply the value to a subset of the parts listed, check each part you want to apply the value to and click Apply to Selected.

  5. Repeat steps 2 through 4 as required.
  6. When you have finished making changes, click one of the following from the page toolbar:

    Command Description
    Save If you return to View mode without clicking Save, changes will be lost.
    Reset Undo changes and continue working in Edit mode.
