Listing Assignees for Legacy Change Data

The Assignees list lets you view and modify the list of users assigned to legacy ECO and ECR data. Only users who are members of the organization that has design responsibility can be assignees.

Legacy change object owners can add and remove names from the assignees list. If you are an assignee, you can delegate only your own proposed changes.


Before you begin:

Access a change object Properties page.

  1. From the change object page categories, click Assignees.

    The Assignees page opens, showing the names of all assignees for the change object, along with their organization, phone number, and email address.

    The Name column contains highlighted links. Click any name in this column to view the Properties page for that person.

  2. Click any of the following from the Actions menu or toolbar to work with assignees:

    Command Description
    Add Existing Add a person who already exists in the database to the list. See Predefined Queries.
    Delegate Assignment Delegate the task to another person. Assignees can delegate all proposed changes they own. Change object owners must first select users from the list to delegate their tasks. See Predefined Queries. A notification is sent to the person regarding the new assignment. The person originally assigned is removed from the change object assignment.
    Remove To remove people from the list, check the people you want to remove and click Remove. A confirmation message is shown. Click OK to continue. This removes the relationship between the person and the change object, but does not delete the person from the database. This command is visible only to the owner of the change object. If any person is selected who has connected proposed changes, then a message is shown stating that the proposed changes must first be delegated before the person can be removed from the list.
