Prerequisites

The Prerequisites page shows all CAs with applicability on which the context CA is dependent.

  1. Access the Properties page of a CA with applicability. See Opening a Change Object with Applicability.
  2. From the page toolbar, click the Prerequisites category.

ColumnDescription
NameThe name of change objects that are prerequisites for the context CA with applicability
Prerequisite TypeShows if the prerequisite is system-defined
StateState of the change object in its lifecycle
DescriptionDetails about the change object
EffectivityThe effectivity definition of the change object. If the definition is longer than the column as displayed, you can move the pointer over the text to see the full definition.

Actions/Toolbar Commands

Action Description
Add PrerequisiteOpens the Search Results page where you can select defined CAs with applicability to be added as prerequisites for the context CA. (To avoid cyclic dependency, the page shows only those CAs with applicability that are not connected with the Prerequisite relationship to the context CA or any of its parents.) Select one or more CAs and click Submit.
Remove PrerequisiteThis disconnects the Prerequisite relationship of the selected CAs but does not delete them from the database. You cannot remove a prerequisite that is system-defined.
