Type and Name

Displays an icon indicating the ambience type and next to it the name of the
				ambience.
Note:
You cannot rename ambiences in xStudio.

		Preview

Depending on the ambience type, the preview displays the following:
					- a thumbnail of the lighting image;
- a thumbnail of the lighting image and the background image; use the arrows to switch between both views. to switch between both views.
Lighting

The Lighting area specifies the properties of the lighting for the
ambience. By this it also influences the reflection in the scene resp. on the
				product.

				  |
					  |

											Exposure
Defines the brightness of the ambience's lighting. |

				  |
					  |

											Rotation
Defines the rotation parameter of the lighting in the scene. |

	 Background

The Background area specifies the properties of the background for the
ambience. If no separate background image exists, the lighting image is used as 3D
background. Except the Exposure value, these parameters are
not relevant for ambiences with a 2D backplate if the backplate is enabled.

				  |
					  |

											Radius
Resizes the dome radius of the ambience to fit the product to the background. This
option is only available for ambiences with a 3D
											background with finite size.
										 |

				  |
					  |

											Rotation
Defines the rotation parameter of the background in the scene. |

				  |
					  |

											Position
Defines the position of the ambience's dome with the projected background image. This
setting only applies to ambiences with a 3D background
											with finite size. |

				  |
					  |

											Exposure
Defines the brightness of the ambience's background or backplate image. |

By default the background properties Rotation and
Exposure are grayed out as they are linked to the
corresponding lighting properties and thus take over these values. If you want to
				specify the Rotation or Exposure
property for the background independently, click the link icon next to the
parameter value. The icon then switches to a broken link
 next to the
parameter value. The icon then switches to a broken link and you
				can edit the property separately.

	 Ground

The Ground area specifies properties for the virtual ground that acts as
a shadow catcher and is required for the ground reflection of ambiences.

				  |
					  |

											Scale Ratio
Specifies the mapping of the background image to the dome representing the camera
heights in the Scene to fit the ground and the
background to the product. This setting does not apply
to ambiences with an enabled 2D backplate.
										 |

				  |
					  |

											Offset
Specifies the position of the virtual ground by offsetting it from the origin (Z = 0).
Use negative values to move the virtual ground down and
positive values to move it up. |

				  |
					  |

											Reflectivity
Specifies the reflection intensity of the virtual ground. |

				  |
					  |

											Glossiness
Specifies how glossy the ground is, impacting how blurry or sharp the reflection
												looks.Note:
			Glossiness is
												considered when the
												Reflectivity value is not
												equal to zero. |

	 Backplate

Defines whether the backplate image is enabled or not. If the backplate image is active, it is
visible in front of the background of the ambience. Unlike a 3D background, it stays
fixed in the same position while you move your camera in the viewport. This option
is only available for ambiences that include a 2D backplate image.
