Inserting Materials

You can import covering materials into your Experience to assign them later one or several parts.

Insert Material Through Action Bar Command

You can insert covering materials to your experience using the action bar command.

  1. From the action bar, click the flyout of the inserting content command.
    The list with all available inserting content commands opens.
  2. Select Insert material .
    A list with all covering materials found in the database of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform is displayed.
  3. Select the material you want to insert in your experience.
  4. Click OK.

The covering material is inserted in the Experience, and it appears in the Material tab of the content panel.
