Opening an Experience

You can open an existing xStudio Experience in different ways.

This task shows you how to:

Open an Experience from the Home Page

You can open an Experience from the home page.

From the home page, select Open .
3DSearch displays all xStudio Experiences existing in your database.
From the results, select the Experience and click OK, or drag it through the top bar to the home page of xStudio.
The Experience opens in xStudio.

You can open one of the last four recently opened Experiences from the home page.

From the home page in the Recent Experiences area, select one of your recently opened Experiences.

The Experience opens in xStudio.

You can open an Experience from the 3DSearch results by dragging it to the app's widget.

In the Search box of the top bar, enter the criteria, for example *rtg or the name of an existing Experience, and press Enter.
3DSearch displays all results that match the search criteria.
From the results, select an Experience and drag it through the top bar to the app.
The Experience opens in xStudio.

You can open an Experience from 3DSpace by dragging it to the app's widget.

Before you begin: Make sure the 3DSpace widget is open next to xStudio.

In 3DSpace navigate to the location where the Experience you want to open is saved.
Optional: In the Search box of the top bar, enter the criteria, for example the subtype "Gallery" or the name of an existing Experience. Make sure that Search in Current Dashboard is selected and press Enter.
3DSpace displays all results that match the search criteria.
From the results, select an Experience and drag it directly to xStudio.
The Experience opens.
