Unlocking Components

You can unlock a physical product or geometry that you have locked during your work to make it available to other users in the collaborative environment.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: Open a physical product.

Unlock a Physical Product

  1. From the Design Manager, select a physical product you have locked during your work.

    You can choose multiple physical products for unlocking.

  2. From the Lifecycle section of the action bar, click Unlock .
    The physical product becomes available for other users.

Unlock Geometry

  1. From the Design Manager, select a physical product whose geometry you have locked during your work.

    You can choose geometry of multiple physical products.

  2. From the Lifecycle section of the action bar, click Unlock Geometry .
    The geometry becomes available to other users.
