Generating the Recycled Content Report

The Recycled Content report lists information about the recycled content of the materials in a part BOM.

The report analyzes the Selected Equivalent configuration of enterprise parts, meaning that if an enterprise part has a Selected Equivalent MEP it analyzes the structure of the MEP to find materials. If an enterprise part does not have a Selected Equivalent MEP, then the report analyzes the enterprise part structure, which are the enterprise parts and materials directly associated with the enterprise part.

The Recycled Content Report can be generated for a single Enterprise Part, MEP, Material Declaration (containing a reported part), or Reported Part.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author
  • App-specific: Design Engineer

Use the Compliance menu to access this report. You can find this menu on the toolbar of any of these pages:

  • Properties page for a part
  • Compliance View page for a part
  • Equivalents category for a part
  • Bill Of Materials for the part

  1. Click Compliance > Reports > Recycled Content.
  2. Select the Weight Unit of Measure for the report.
  3. Click Done.
