Managing the Image Associated with Model Definition Objects

You can add, change, or remove the image associated with any object in Model Definition that has an identity card.

This task shows you how to:


Before you begin: Open the item whose image you want to change.

Add an Image

If you did not select an image when the object was created, you can add one to replace the placeholder image for the object.

  1. Open the object.
  2. Click the placeholder image in the identity card.
  3. Do one of the following:

    Option Actions
    Drop an image.
    1. Select an image on your local file system.
    2. Drag and drop it into the Image Manager.
    3. Click Close.
    Browse for an image.
    1. Click Browse.
    2. Browse to the image.
    3. Select the image.
    4. Click Open.
    5. Click Upload.
    6. Click Close.

  4. Click Open.

The image you added replaces the placeholder image for the object.

Change the Image

You can change the existing image associated with an object.

  1. Open the object.
  2. Click the existing image in the identity card.
  3. Do one of the following:

    Option Actions
    Drop an image.
    1. Select an image on your local file system.
    2. Drag and drop it into the Image Manager.
    3. Click Close.
    Browse for an image.
    1. Click Browse.
    2. Briwse to the image.
    3. Select the image.
    4. Click Open.
    5. Click Upload.
    6. If there is more than one image in the Image Manager, from the repl cement image's context menu, select Set as primary image.
    7. Click Close.

  4. Click Open.

The selected image is now the object's image.

Remove the Image

You can remove the existing image associated with an object to replace it with the object's placeholder image.

  1. Open the object.
  2. Click the image in the identity card.
  3. In the Image Manager, from the image's context menu, select Delete image.
  4. Click Open.
  5. Click Close.

The placeholder image replaces the deleted object.
