xPDMXML Completion Description for Manufacturing Data

This section describes about the completion for Manufacturing data. It lists the detail about the data objects that can be exported with or without filter.

For Manufacturing Product Transformation reference export, only the following types are authorized as entry point:

  • Manufacturing Assembly reference
  • Manufacturing Kit reference
  • Manufactured Material reference
  • Provided Part reference
  • Manufactured Part reference
  • Continuous Provided Part
  • Continuous Create Material

For Production System reference export, only the following types are authorized as entry point:

  • General System reference
  • Transformation System reference
  • Workplan System reference

You can also select a PVS if you want to export a filtered structure of Manufacturing Product Transformation reference or Production System reference. The authorized PVS are the ones applied on one of the authorized PPR Data type described above.

Following table describes the completion scope for the selected object.

Relational Links To For Manufacturing Product Transformation reference For Production System reference
Manufacturing Product Transformation Structure

For intra Relational Links to Manufacturing Product Transformation structure,

  • All precedence constraints for the filter
  • All data requirements for the filter
  • All alternate Manufacturing Product Transformation
  • All Manufacturing Substitute of Manufacturing Product Transformation instances valid for filter in a structure

Note: If no filter is applied on the structure, all the above types of data are retrieved for the complete structure.

  • For each System reference,
    • Manufacturing Product Transformation reference linked with a scope link to that system reference
  • For each operation instance,
    • Manufacturing Product Transformation path implemented by the current operation instance if it implements a Manufacturing Item in one of the previous scope.
  • For the Manufacturing Product Transformation, all prerequisite ports and valid explicit data requirement connections are exported.
Resource Structure

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation references:

  • All associated capable resource,
    • Resource reference and its expanded structure (resource instance and resource reference only)
    • Document
For any reference, all the capable resource,
  • Resource reference and its expanded structure (resource instance and resource reference)
  • Documents

For any reference, all the candidate resource,

  • Resource reference and its expanded structure (resource instance and resource reference)

Implementing Resource Links:

  • For each reference, the resource scope implementing this reference.
  • For each instance, the different implementing resources through implementing links who, where and with (if they are defined in ones of the previous scopes).
  • Only the instances and references of Implementing Resources (no representations, no ports) are retrieved.
  • The Resource Structure is not expanded, only implementing resources are retrieved.
Production System Structure

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation reference:

  • All System references pointing with a scope implement link to this Manufacturing Items references

For each Manufacturing item instance:

  • All implementing operation occurrences (if contained in the previous System scope)

Note: No ports, no product glows, no time constraints are exported in this context, only implementing objects (System references, Operation occurrences).

Intra Relational Links to Production System Structure:

  • All valid Material Flows for the filter.
  • All valid Time constraints for the filter.
  • All input and output ports
  • Workplan reference linked with a scope link to that system reference.

For each Operation instance,

  • Operation path implemented by the current operation instance if it is implemented in one of the previous scope.
Product Structure

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation reference:

  • Product reference linked with a scope link to the manufacturing item reference
  • Product path implemented by the Manufacturing Item reference
  • Process output reference

For each Manufacturing Item instance:

  • Product path implemented by the Manufacturing Item instance.
-
Requirement Structure

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation reference:

  • Requirement linked to this reference with a GlobalHowTo link.
  • Requirement linked to this reference with a HowTo link whatever it is a sub-requirement of the Global requirement or an independent one.

For each Production System or Operation reference:

  • Requirement linked to this reference with a GlobalHowTo link.
  • Requirement linked to this reference with a HowTo link whatever it is a sub requirement of the Global requirement or an independent one.
EBOM Structure

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation reference:

  • The EBOM Part implemented as scope by this reference.

For each Manufacturing Product Transformation instance:

  • The set of EBOM relations implemented by this instance.
-
People and Organization Structure

Manufacturing Responsibility i.e the Plant or the Company responsible for Manufacturing Product Transformation.
