Event Activity Dashboard

This section displays the current activity state of the different events present in the system and the time taken by the last activity of the event. It is displayed in a tabular format with the rows denoting the various categories of event activity and columns denoting the time taken by the last activity of each event. The cell denotes the number of events that are performing an activity and for a certain period of time.

Queue Based Filter

In the Event Activity Dashborad, select a queue from the list of queues to view the event activity status. Available option are:

  • All Queues: Displays information about both active and passive queues.
  • List of local active queues
  • List of remote active queues

By default, All Queues option is selected.

Event Activity Categories

Following are the different event activity categories:

Category Description

Blocking

Events that are currently blocked either because of failure in processing or communication with other gateway or file transfer.

In Processing

 Events that are currently being processed by the adapter.
Queued Events that are queued up for processing in a queue. Whenever an event is blocked or being processed in a queue all the other events initiated after that event are queued up.
FinishedEvents that are processed or completed successfully.
Note: The event-directory is deleted from the file server, when processing of a remote gateway server event is complete and a response has been sent without any feedback event. If a feedback event is triggered, see Feedback Event Configuration for information about the conditions when the event directory is deleted.
CanceledEvents that have been canceled either while in processing or when queued or after they are blocked.
Note: The event-directory is deleted from the file server, when a event is canceled without sending any feedback event.
  • From the local gateway after local to remote communication error.
  • From the remote gateway after remote to local communication error.
  • In any state from the remote gateway and response has been sent.

Waiting For Processing

Events that are currently waiting to be polled by the X-PDM Adapter.

Note: Only available in the Gateway Server for X-PDM Connectivity Administration Console page.

File Transfer Events for the gateway is transferring the files from file server to local directory or visa-versa.

Each State is a hyperlink that displays the detail view either for all queues or filtered queue.

Time Taken by Activity

The time taken by an event for an activity in divided into four time slots: 10mn, <1h, <4h and >4h.

Each time slot has a different color coding to display the criticality of a situation for different categories.
