Customizing Preferences

You can customize your user experience.

Before you begin: Open the Connected Software app.
  1. From the menu , select Preferences. The appears in the upper right hand corner of your app, unless you are in full screen mode. In full-screen mode, it appears on the title bar, to the left of the search window.
  2. Set the preferences according to your needs.

    Preferences Description
    Credentials Credentials inside the widget apply rules and visibility on the data under manipulation. They also determine the location of new objects. They enable you to choose among all credentials available for the connected user on the current 3DEXPERIENCE platform.

    From the proposed list, select credentials. (The list is based on the credentials that are available to your user.)

    Display Work Under Displays to allow the selection of the change action under which you want to work. This option is applicable to Software Items only. Connector object changes do not use change action.

    By default, this option is activated.
    Work Under Position Sets the position in the widget of the :
    • Lower-right corner
    • Lower-left corner
    • Upper-right corner
    • Upper-left corner
    Note: When you move , the location persists until the session ends. When the next session begins, the is displayed at the location selected here.

  3. Click Save to save preferences.

The preference changes take place immediately.
