Positioning Dimensions (View per View)

You can position distance and length dimensions (either generated dimensions or interactive dimensions) in a better way. These dimensions will be positioned on the active view exclusively.

Before you begin: Open any drawing representation containing generated dimensions.

Dimension positioning
From the configured section of the action bar, click Dimension Positioning .

This command is not available by default. To add it to the action bar, select Me > Preferences > Customize > Commands, and drag and drop the command onto a section.

The dimensions are automatically re-positioned.



Important: If you want to analyze dimension interferences, select Dimension Analysis . You will thus be able to visualize and manage interfering dimensions.
