Configuration Items List

The Configuration Items (CI) page lists the various CIs for a contract.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, Data Manager, Program Controls Specialist, Subcontract Administrator

To access this page:

  1. Click Home .
  2. In the navigation pane, click Contracts > CIs.

Columns

Column NameDescription
NameThe name of the configuration item. Click the CI name to open the Properties page.
TypeHardware CI or Software CI.
Indicates the current status of the CI.
(Active Change Exists)Indicates that an active change exists.
Any image of the CI, if available.
NomenclatureThe id given to the CI.
CI Nomenclature DescriptionA detailed description of the CI Nomenclature.
Configuration End Item (CEI)Yes or No if the CI is a Configuration End Item. A CEI is a CI that is deliverable under a contract, such as an Aircraft, Ship, Propulsion System, or Equipment. A CEI will most likely have subordinate CIs within it's product structure.
SourceThe following sources are available: CFE (Customer Furnished Equipment), GFE (Government Furnished Equipment), GFP (Government Furnished Property), Make (CI made from contract), Buy (CI will be bought by the contract).
OwnerThe user currently responsible for the CI.
Responsible OrganizationThe organization responsible for the CI.
StateThe current lifecycle state of the CI.
DescriptionA detailed description of the CI.
Design VariantsYes or No. A link is provided to connect to the Logical Features with Associated Design Variants page.
Selection TypeMultiple or Single
