Adding Work Authorizations

You can add a work authorization.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, owner of the contract


Before you begin: A sales order must exist.

Adding a Sales Order
  1. From the Contract Price tab, check the box for the associated sales order.
  2. From the page Actions menu, click Add Work Authorization .
  3. Enter the following information:
    Field NameDescription
    TypeWork Authorization is the type.
    NameEnter a name for the work authorization or check Autoname to automatically name the work authorization.
    DescriptionEnter a detailed description of the work authorization.
    TitleEnter a title for the work authorization.
    Work Authorization Issue DateClick to select the date the work authorization was issued.
    Amount Enter the amount of the work authorization.
    UnallocatedShows the amount of the work authorization that has been allocated.
    CommentsEnter any comments related to the work authorization.
  4. Click Apply to add more work authorizations or click OK to complete the action.

The new work authorization is listed below the sales order on the Contract Price tab.
