Editing DRL Properties

You can modify the details of the DRL.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, Data Manager, Global User with owner access, Subcontract Administrator


Before you begin: Access the Properties page for the DRL. For more information, see Data Requirements Lists Properties.
  1. From the page toolbar, click Edit Details .
  2. Edit any of these details:
    Column NameDescription
    DRL NumberEnter the number given to the DRL.
    OwnerClick to select the user responsible for the DRL.
    TitleEnter the title for the DRL.
    SubtitleEnter the subtitle for the DRL.
    Submittal RequirementsEnter the requirements required to submit the DRL.
    Distribution Statement in UseSelect the reference value to determine if the data can be distributed and the distribution range of the data.
    DD250 RequiredSelect the DD250 required for the DRL:
    • Source Inspection, Acceptance at Destination (SD)
    • Source Inspection and Acceptance (SS)
    • Unassigned
    • Letter (LT)
    • Inspection and Acceptance at Destination (DD)
    Delivery FormatEnter the delivery format.
    Delivery RequirementsEnter any delivery requirements.
    CommentsEnter any comments about the DRL.
    Customer Approval RequiredSelect Yes or No if customer approval is required.
    Number of CopiesEnter the number of copies.
    CLINClick to select the CLIN in the related project's contract.
    DID/SDSClick to select the DID/SDS to connect to the DRL.
    Responsible OrganizationClick to select the company, business unit, or department responsible for the DRL.
    CAGE CodeEnter the 5-digit value that should be the CAGE code of the organization preparing the DRL.
    Scheduling Details
    Submittal FrequencyFrom the list, select the value. The value determines the number of submittals initially scheduled with the schedule submittals action.
    First Submission DateClick to select the first submission date. The value entered is used by the submittal schedules action with the submittal frequency to define the due date of the first submittal. The date should be after the selected project start date, not before the contract start date, and not after contract finish date.
    Subsequent Submission DateClick to select the subsequent submission date. The value used by the submittal schedules action with the submittal frequency to define the due date of the second submittal and to align the subsequent/additional submittals to the date.
    Estimated Finish DateClick to select the estimated end date for the tasks. The submittal frequency uses the end date for the required submittal calculations. The end date should be after submission start date. If the Contract Start Date was not entered at the time of the contract creation, the Estimated Finish Date will default to the Contract Start Date.
    DRL Options
    Enable OffsetSelect Yes or No to specify whether the time offset is required or not.
    Cover Letter Documents Required Select Yes or No.
    Note: For a CDRL, if Yes, then the Submittal Letter Number and Submittal Letter Date are required to promote to the Transmitted state. If No, then the Submittal Letter Number and Submittal Letter Date fields are optional. If Yes, then the Customer Reply Letter Number and Customer Disposition Date are required to promote to the Dispositioned state. If No, then the Customer Reply Letter Number and Customer Disposition Date fields are optional. If the Complete Disposition and Promote check box is selected in the Disposition Transmittal action, these attributes are optional.
    Note: For an SDRL, if Yes, then the Submittal Letter Number and Submittal Letter Date are required to promote to the Received state. If No, then the Submittal Letter Number and Submittal Letter Date fields are optional. If Yes, then the Customer Reply Letter Number and Schedule Date Disposition To DM are required to promote to the Reviewed state. If No, then the Customer Reply Letter Number and Schedule Date Disposition To DM fields are optional. If the Complete Disposition and Promote check box is selected in the Reviewers Disposition action, these attributes are optional.
    Enable DRL NotificationsSelect Yes or No to enable the DRL notification.
    Create Milestone per SubmittalSelect Yes to create a milestone per submittal or No not to create a milestone per submittal.
  3. Click Done.
