Processing the Submittal

From the submittal, actions are available to collect the reference documents and deliverables.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Leader, Owner
  • App-specific: Contracts Manager, Data Manager, Subcontract Administrator, owner of the submittal

Adding Reference Documents

The transmittal letter for the submittal is attached as a reference document.

  1. Open the submittal.
  2. Click the Reference Documents tab on the Submittal page.
  3. Click Actions > Add Existing.
  4. From the 3DSearch results, select the existing reference documents to add to the submittal.

    For more information on creating a document, see Creating Documents in the Collaboration and Approvals User's Guide.

  5. Click OK.

The reference document is listed on the Reference Documents tab.

Adding the Deliverables

Before transmitting the submittal, the deliverables must be attached to the submittal.

  1. Click the Deliverables tab on the Submittal page.
  2. Click Actions > Add Existing.
  3. From the 3DSearch results, select the existing deliverable to add to the submittal.
  4. Click OK.

The deliverable is listed on the Deliverables tab.
