About Creating Constraints in Context

The context toolbar offers the capability to quickly constrain components.

This page discusses:

A list of constraints is available by selecting a component or a geometry in the 3D area or in the tree.

This list is based on:

Constraint Creation

The constraint is created as follows:

  • By respecting the By default, automatically position components preference in General.
  • By enriching existing an engineering connection based on the selection or by creating a new one under the active product when the Positioning Mode option is off . Otherwise, constraints are deleted at validation.

Components are positioned to respect the constraint. A transparency is applied on non-effected components and they are not selectable.
