Artwork Element Page of a Master Copy Authoring Task

The artwork elements to be authored in a master copy authoring task appear on the Artwork Element page. If a copy element is associated with multiple artwork packages, the difference between the copy texts of current and previous revisions is shown in the Copy Text Difference column.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author
  • App-specific: Master Copy Author

To access this page:

  • From the Compass, click Copy and Artwork Management.
  • In the navigation pane, click Master Copy Authoring.
Note: You can also use the following step to access this page:
  • From the Compass, click Copy and Artwork Management. In the navigation pane, select Copy and Artwork > Artwork Package. In the My Artwork Packages page, click the Name of an active artwork package.

Columns

Column Name Description
Element Type Type of artwork element associated with the master copy authoring task.
Display Name Display name of the artwork element associated with the master copy authoring task.
Place of Origin Place of origin of the artwork element associated with the master copy authoring task.
Note: If an existing artwork element is added to the product line, the Place Of Origin column displays Multiple for the added artwork element. To view the where used details of an artwork element, you can right-click the Display Name of the artwork element and select Place Of Origin.
Language Language selected for a copy element.
: Indicates whether the countries in which the artwork element is available for use are defined or not. If the country assigned to copy element is not a part of POA, the copy element is not displayed.
Note: You can click to view the countries defined.

: Indicates that inline translation is selected for the copy element. If the Translate option is set to No, there is no local language available, only preferred language is available.

Last Approved Either of the following fields are available in this column depending on whether the corresponding element is master copy or master graphic element:
  • Image: Last approved image associated with the graphic element.
  • Copy Text: Last approved copy text associated with the copy element.
Current The following sub columns are described in this column:
  • Copy Text: The copy text associated with the copy element. Click to edit the text.
  • Image: The image associated with the graphic element.
Actions Indicates the tasks that you can perform using the options available:
  • i: Details of task assigned to master copy author.
  • : Indicates whether there are any differences in the copy text of two revisions of a master copy element associated with more than one artwork package. Character level differences are available between two revisions of a copy text. If there are any differences in the copy text of the revisions of master copy element, appears in the Copy Text Difference column. Pause on to view the tooltip with differences in copy texts of the two revisions.
    Tip: In the tooltip,
    • the text highlighted in green in the Current area, indicates that the text is added to the copy text of new revision and is not available in the copy text of previous revision.
    • the text highlighted in red in the Previous Revision area, indicates that the text is removed from the copy text of previous revision and is not available in the copy text of new revision.
  • : Click to update the artwork element.
  • : Click to download the artwork element.
State State of the artwork element associated with the master copy authoring task.
Tip: You pause over the icon to view the details of state.
Artwork Packages Artwork packages attached to the artwork elements.
