In the tab toolbar, select
Actions >
Create Master Copy.
The
Create Master Copy Element page appears.
Note:
You can also select
>
Copy and Artwork >
Create Master Copy to create a master copy.

Enter these details.

From the list, select a type. For structured copy elements, on the

Type the marketing name.

Translate

Select the appropriate option,
Yes or
No. If you select
Yes, the master copy is translated
in the local language and the options for
Inline Translation are enabled.

Master Copy Text
|
Type the copy text. You can click
to select and add special characters in the copy
text. You can also select the formatting options to format the copy text.

Responsible
Organization
|
Click
to assign the organization or project that has the
design responsibility for the master copy. By default, the
Company Name is selected.

Click
Done.
A new master copy is added in the
Artwork Elements tab of the product line and:
- If
Translate is set to
Yes,
- A master copy element is created. The values of marketing name
and translate are assigned to the master copy object.
- A copy element content object (base). The values of marketing
name and copy text are assigned.
- If
Translate is set to
No,
- The master copy element cannot be translated to other languages
and an inclusion rule defined is only for the preferred
language.
Note:
You can use the
CreateArtworkElements
API to create master copy and
local copy elements, and the
CreateStructuredCopies
API to create structured copy
