Selecting a Data Set

When you open Insight for Research, you can select data sets or part of a data set to load into the app. This data comes from Generative Therapeutic Design.


Before you begin: You can select data by compound structure if you have one or more of the following roles:
  • Small Molecule and Biologics Data Analyst
  • Generative Therapeutics Scientist
  • Small Molecule Bench Scientist

  1. Select how you want to view the data. You can aggregate the data at the parent level or lot level.
  2. To navigate and select data, you can do the following:
    • Expand or collapse the data sets and select the data you want to load.
    • Use the filter to search the data without expanding the data sets.
    • Select data by compound structure. This selects the data that contains the compound structure you defined.

    If you select a data set, you also automatically select all of the data in the hierarchy below the selected level.

    Under Select Activity, you can exclude the data properties that you do not want to load. Excluded properties do not appear in the Primary Data and is not available for use as a filter or in chart configuration options.

    The number of data selected to load displays at the bottom of the page.

  3. Click Get Data.

The data loads to the Primary Data tab of the app.
