  1. Find the experiment in the All Experiments page or by performing a 3DSearch.

Tip: On the All Experiments, set the filter to either Only Workbook Experiments or Only Notebook Experiments, to display only imported experiments from BIOVIA Workbook or Notebook.
Note: You can distinguish between imported experiments and Scientific Notebook experiments on the All Experiments page by their statuses. The status of an imported experiment is always Imported.

  2. Right-click and select Preview to open the experiment's Preview pane.

Tip: If you are sure that you want to open the experiment without previewing, directly click it row, thumbnail, or tile to open its source application.

  3. If you are viewing a Notebook experiment with multiple parts, select the PDF that corresponds to the part you need from the Renditions section.
The PDF report for the selected version or part replaces the previously displayed report.
  4. To open the experiment in its source application, click Open.

If the experiment is from BIOVIA Notebook, Scientific Notebook opens the BIOVIA Notebook login page in a separate tab of your browser.

If the experiment is from BIOVIA Workbook, Scientific Notebook opens your local BIOVIA Workbook client application and displays its login dialog box.

In both cases, the experiment opens after you log in.
