Generating a Bill of Substances

You can generate a Bill of Substances report for a formula. The Bill of Substances shows all the constituent substances that are present in the formula's dry composition (that is, after processing).

  1. In the work area, click Generate Report .
  2. In the Generate Report dialog box, select Bill of Substances from the Select report list.
  3. In the Generate Report dialog box, select a file type from the Select file type list. In this release of Formulation Design, the only option is PDF.
  4. Click OK.

    Formulation Design generates a Bill of Substances report, and downloads it to your browser's Downloads folder.

    The first table in the Bill of Substances shows the formula number and name. The second table lists the following information for each substance in the formula:

    • ID
    • Name
    • Target % Added (Dry)
    • Target Weight Added (Dry)
