Accessing this Operation

This operation can be accessed by clicking Bind Parameter .

Describing this Operation

This operation searches for the parameter whose name or path is specified. For more information about the bind mechanism, see About the Bind Mechanism.

Note: This operation supports knowledge parameters only. For PLM parameters, see Bind Object Operation.

Using this Operation Interface

Name Name attributed to the operation.
Comment Comment attributed to the operation.
Bind Starting from: In the Operations tree, click:
  • An object or an operation variable that contains an item at run time.
  • An operation.
The search starts from the object indicated in this field. If nothing is indicated, the search starts from this operation.
Relative Name Type the name of the parameter that you are looking for and its access path (using the ../.. syntax). To know the parameter naming convention, use the Definition tab of this object: It lists the possible names. If the parameter is aggregated below a Parameters node, do not specify the Parameters node in the path. If there are subparameters, you must specify them.
