Creating a Filter

You can use a filter to refine the objects displayed in a logical or a functional structure.

About Advanced Filtering
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Filter.

    Note: If you have several root objects in your view, the Roots to Filter dialog box opens. It allows you to select the single root object whose structure you want to filter.

  2. In the Filter dialog box, define the specifications of the filter:
    • Click the Filter box to modify the name of the filter.
    • Click Attribute to define the attributes to consider.
    • Click Configuration to define the variant and evolution to consider.
  3. Click:
    • Apply to apply the filter directly to the open structure.
    • Save to save the filter for a future usage.
    • Save As to save the filter under a new name.
  4. To remove the filter, click Remove All Advanced Filter.
