Logging In and Out

You can access 3DEXPERIENCE platform only if you log in with a valid username, password, and Role.

You can check your login status in by looking at the system tray. The shows either a red or green lock . If green, you are logged in. If red, you are not logged in.

This task shows you how to:

Before you begin: The Administrator must assign you to one or more Collaborative Spaces and a Role for each space. If you are assigned to multiple Collaborative Spaces or Role, choose the required space and Role and those selected will be returned from 3DEXPERIENCE during the login process.

Logging In to the 3DEXPERIENCE

You can log in to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform from Client Connector via the 3DEXPERIENCE menu.

  1. To log in before being prompted: From the menu, select 3DEXPERIENCE > Login to 3DEXPERIENCE.
  2. Enter your user name and password, then click Login.
    The app prompts you to select your credentials.
  3. From the lists, select the required Organization, Collaborative Space, and Role. If you only belong to one item for a field, that item shows and you cannot change it.

    Your credentials determine which Connector for Cadence OrCAD functions you can perform. For more information, see Access to Content in Collaborative Spaces.

  4. Click OK.

Logging Out of the 3DEXPERIENCE

You can log out of 3DEXPERIENCE platform as follows:

The integrated Logout from 3DEXPERIENCE menu entry disconnects the Client Connector from 3DEXPERIENCE.
You have now exited Client Connector.
