This task shows you how to view the computed hydrostatic parameters and export them to different tables.

Before you begin: Compute the hydrostatic parameters. All the computed parameters are displayed in the panel.

Computing Hydrostatic Parameters
  1. Select the value of a parameter.
The parameter appears on the hull in the 3D area. You can multiselect the parameters to display them on the hull.
  2. Click Show Preferences at the upper right of the panel.

    • Select the Show description check box to display the descriptions of the parameters.
    • Specify the computation preferences for the following parameters:

    ParametersComputation Options
    LCB and LCF
    • Compute from stern
    • Compute from AP
    • Compute from FP
    • Compute from midship
    VCB
    • Compute from keel at midship
    • Compute from base line
    • Compute from waterline
    Cb, Cp, and Cwp
    • Compute using LWL
    • Compute using Lpp
  3. Click Export to export the parameters to different tables.
  4. In the Export panel, select the check boxes to generate the corresponding tables.
    TableDescription
Hydrostatics table Lists the hydrostatic parameters for a given set of drafts and inclinations.

Select one of the following options:

    • Export as various draft values: generates a separate table for each inclination angle. The table lists the parameters for various draft values at the given inclination.
    • Export as various inclination angles: generates a separate table for each draft value. The table lists the parameters for various inclination angles at the given draft.

KN table Lists the distance between K and N for a given set of drafts and inclinations, as shown in the below image.
GZ table Lists the distance between G and Z for a given set of inclinations, as shown in the below image.
GM table Lists the distance between G and M for a given set of inclinations, as shown in the below image.

The tables are exported to .csv files.
