-
Open an empty 3D Part.
-
From the Model section of the action bar,
click Stacking
.
Note:
Only one stacking is allowed in a 3D part.
- A Stacking node is created in the tree, under the root node of the 3D Part.
- If a stacking already exists, edition mode is started: The dialog box is filled with
current values.
- Stacking is proposed as default name.
-
Optional: For easy identification, change the name of the stacking.
- Optional:
Select the support plane of the stacking from the 3D area or from
the tree.
- Optional:
Use the context menu to create a plane.
-
Define the machine direction from a line or a direction from an axis system.
- Optional:
Use the context menu to create the element that defines the direction.
The cross direction is deduced from the support plane and
the machine direction: It is orthogonal to the machine direction, and forms a positive
axis system with the plane orientation.
-
Define the center point from a point.
- Optional:
Use the context menu to create the point.
-
Define an Elevated Offset to be used in
Elevated view.
-
Optional: Invert the machine or the cross direction, either from the dialog
box or by clicking the corresponding arrow.
- The Stacking node (named after your input) in the tree contains a Parameters set, and a
Relations set and Stacking axis system.
- Double-click to edit the stacking.
- By default, the Parameters set is empty. Parameters are added
as they are created.
- Hiding Stacking axis system hides the stacking
representation.
- The stacking representation remains visible.
- The machine direction is identified as MD, the cross direction as CD (Once validated
their arrows are no longer clickable)
- A centerline is displayed.
- Back and front are identified.
