To open the variable and parameter editors, do one of the following:

          - Double-click a component.

          - Right-click a component and select Edit Component

 .

The diagram now shows the following dialog boxes:
            - Variables: A variable editor on the upper-left corner of the
              component.

            - Parameters: A parameter editor on the upper-right corner of
              the component.

            - Plotter: An empty plot on the lower-right corner of the
component for visualizing the simulated variables.

       -
In the variable and parameter editors, activate the variables and parameters of
          interest under the Exposure column.

           Note:
The activated variables and parameters are visible in the Model
Specifications dialog box for exploring the changes. For more information,
            see Managing Model Specifications.

       - Optional:
To filter the list of variables and parameters:

          -
            Click
 .

       -
Modify the parameter values under the Value column.

An orange highlight appears on the modified parameters and
the component in the diagram. A Simulation NOT up-to-date message appears in orange color at
the upper-left corner of the widget window and next to the
              Simulate
              option in the cockpit view.

       -

          -
Right-click anywhere along the parameter row and select Advanced
                Properties
