Add and Modify a Sketch and a Section

You can modify a concept surface by adding and modifying a sketch and its associated section.

Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a concept surface.

Creating Concept Surfaces
  1. Select a concept surface.
  2. In the Sections section of the Selection panel, click Duplicate Section .


  3. In the Select Section Parameters section, click Duplicate Sketch
    A sketch is created and the selected section is associated with the new sketch.

  4. Modify the added sketch.
    The sketch and section are updated and the concept surface shape is modified locally.
