Modify Link Lines and Faces of a Concept Surface

You can modify a concept surface by modifying its link lines and faces.


Before you begin: Open a 3DShape containing a concept surface.

Creating Concept Surfaces
  1. Select a link output of a link set.

    A tangent is added at the point nearest to the selected position on the link output.

  2. Drag the tangent handle.

    The shape of the concept surface is updated after releasing the mouse button.

  3. Select the modified link output and in the context toolbar, click Remove Current Tangent(s) .
    The tangent is removed and the modification reset.
  4. Select a surface of a face output and move the Robot.

    The shape of the concept surface is updated after releasing the Robot.

  5. Select a surface of a face output.
  6. In the Surface properties section of the Selection panel, click Translate PICK .
  7. Select a point.

    The face is moved to the point.
