Applies To Page for a Decision

A Decision can apply to many objects at the same time. For example, a Decision created in a meeting could apply to Programs, Projects, Requirements, or other objects that were discussed in the meeting.

Required access roles: If you have access to the parent of a Decision, you have access to this page.

To access this page:

  1. Open the required Decision. See Opening a Decision.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Applies To.

Columns

Column Name Description
Name The name of the object. You can click to view the Properties page for that object.
Type The type of object.
Revision The revision level of the object
Description A brief description of the object.
State The lifecycle current state of the object.
Applicability Propagation Shows Yes for a Change Order or Change Action (applicability from the Decision will override any applicability for the Change Order or Change Action), or No for other types of objects.
Owner The person who owns the object.
Opens the Properties page for the object in a new window.

Add Existing Searches for and connects an existing object. You can add many types of objects, including Change Orders and Change Actions.

You can add objects when the Decision is in the Active or Release state.

Remove Removes the selected objects from this Decision; click OK to confirm. --
