Moving a Person to a Different Organization

You can move a Person from one organization to another. When you add a person, that person is added to the host company. You can use the People page for the host company to move that person to another company or department.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Administrator


Before you begin: Open the list of People for an organization. For more information, see People Page.
  1. Select the Person you want to move.
  2. Click Move Person(s) .
  3. Click and select the destination organization. You can only select organizations that you, as an Administrator, belong to.
  4. Choose how the move affects the person's credentials.

    Currently assigned credentials will remain unchangedMoves the Person to the selected organization and keeps all credentials (combination of access role, organization, and collaborative space) currently assigned to the person.

    The person is not assigned the default credentials for the destination organization.

    Currently assigned credentials will be reset to defaultRemoves all existing credentials and assigns the default credentials for the selected destination organization.

  5. Click Done.
