DesignSync Folder Content Page

You can view the contents of a DesignSync folder associated with a business object from your app.

To access this page:

  1. View the properties page for the folder. See Properties for Documents or Folders Associated with DesignSync Objects.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Folder Contents.

If you see a "No Objects Found" message and you know that there should be content, the DesignSync server may be down or otherwise unavailable. Contact your System Administrator for help.

Column NameDescription
Icon Indicates whether the content is a file or a folder.
NameThe name of the file or folder.
VersionThe version of the file. For folder, this column is empty as folders do not have versions.
CommentsThe check-in comment for the file when checked into DesignSync. For folders, this column is empty.
TagsShows the tags defined for the item.
ActionsThe actions you can perform on the listed content. If a particular icon is not displayed, then the item's status does not allow the action.

Download

Download the file to your local machine without locking it on the server. Navigate to the folder or directory you want to contain the file. Multiple files are downloaded in a single zip file.

View

View the file in a registered viewer. If no viewer is registered and the mime type is set, the file opens in the browser window.


Lock

Lock the file without checking it out.

Unlock

Unlock the file without checking in a new version.
