When right-clicking your active Collab workspace node from the PLM Workspace a context menu appears. It enables you to interact with the members of your Workspace.

  • Collaborate with all members: to share design with all the members of the active workspace. When selecting the option, the Head-up displays, you can create briefcases to be read by all the workspace members.
    Important:
    • No briefcase is explicitly created for senders.
    • An e-mail box appears with an automatic message even if the member you want to share design with is offline. A snapshot of the current view from the sender part is enclosed in the e-mail. Click Send to send it.
Warning: The command is only available when the server supports N-Way chat. For more details, see the 3DEXPERIENCE Native Apps User's Guide User: Native Apps Basics: Sharing Information with 3DMessaging documentation.
  • Edit Workspace Properties: to edit the workspace properties. When selecting this option, you can edit information about the description of the workspace (Short description, Long description...). The option is only available when you are logged in as the owner/creator of the workspace.
  • Workspace Properties: to get access to the properties of the workspace. The option is only available when you are logged in just as a member of the workspace. The boxes of the dialog box are not editable.
  • Refresh workspace: to refresh the active workspace properties from database.
  • Add/Remove Members: to add or remove members. This option is only available and appears in the context menu if you are the owner/creator of the workspace.
    Important:
    • You have to be declared in the collaborative server and in the Enovia V6 Server.
    • When clicking Close, an e-mail box appears with an automatic message about to be sent to the member you want to add or remove. Click Send to actually send it.
  • Leave Workspace: to leave the joined workspace. You can leave the workspace if you are the creator/owner of the workspace or just a member of the workspace. When selecting this option you leave the workspace and go back to a peer-to-peer mode.
  • When receiving a briefcase in the Collab Workspace * appears in front of the name the active Collab Workspace you are in.
    • Right-click the name of the Collab Workspace. The same context menu opens and displays the Post Pending option to let you manage the data contained in the briefcase you received.
Note: A pending briefcase is a briefcase that has not been posted from the Collab Workspace. As soon as the briefcase has been sent, it has an open status and is no longer considered as a pending briefcase.
