Create and Activate a Workspace in the Navigation window
You can create or activate a workspace.

In the top bar, select Add
> Content.
The New Content dialog box appears. - Select Collaborative
Design Workspace.
The Collaborative Design Workspace dialog box opens.
Warning: If you are not logged in the PLMChat when selecting the Collaborative Design Workspace, a message appears asking you if you want to connect. - Click OK, to connect you and log you in. The Collaborative Design Workspace dialog box reappears.
- Click Cancel, not to be connected.
- Type at least the name of your Collab Workspace in the
Name field of the Collaborative Design Workspace
dialog box to find it from the database.
Warning: The Name field is mandatory. If you do not name your workspace, an error message appears. - Click OK when satisfied. The workspace is created in the system and the Active Workspace? dialog box appears asking you if you want to activate the newly created Workspace.
- Click Yes to activate your Collab Workspace
or No not to activate your Collab Workspace.
Your Collab Workspace is activated and a new section appears in your
PLMWorkspace
corresponding to the active Collab Workspace you are in.
Tip: You automatically become the administrator of the workspace you create. Therefore, only you decide who can have access to the data contained in the workspace.
