Displaying Vertical Alignment Stationing in Horizontal Alignment

You can display vertical alignment stationing inside the horizontal alignment.


Before you begin: You must have created a horizontal alignment and a vertical alignment, and opened the horizontal alignment. For more information, see Creating a Horizontal Alignment and Creating a Vertical Alignment.
  1. From the Alignment section of the action bar, click Stationings .
  2. From the Stationing assistant, click Display vertical context under the Display collapsible section.
    A list of vertical alignments associated with the horizontal alignment appears.
  3. From the list, select the vertical alignment you want to display information about.

    Note: If you have only one vertical alignment, it is automatically selected. If you have several vertical alignments, the last one you have created is automatically selected.

    The following stationing of the vertical alignment appear:
    • Start/end points in light blue
    • Alignment points in blue
    • Crest curves transition points in orange
    • Sag curves transition points in brown
