Capture the Full Screen
The Full screen mode is the default capture mode.
- In the capture commands, select Full Screen .
- Click the Options button.
- In the General tab, define the appropriate options (irrelevant options are dimmed).
Important: - In the Hotkeys area, you can define a combination of keys to start the capture. One key plus a letter must be selected at least but you can select two or three keys in addition to the letter, for example: Ctrl+B or Shift+Alt+C. Only one combination of key is kept during the capture session.
- The Rendering tab is unavailable because it does not apply to this capture mode.
- Access the Output Preferences
tab.
The output types available when saving to a file and in the Album vary according to the mode you selected (you can save in another format/location, copy to the clipboard, print the captured image, or save to a file in the Album) or Wireframe.
- Select a file type then, if you are in
Wireframe mode, click Properties... to define the properties dedicated to each format.

- Optional: Click Look in: then navigate to the
new image
location before clicking
OK
to confirm the save.
By default, captured images are stored in the album temporary folder in C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\DassaultSystemes\CATTemp\.

- Select the save format for the captured image.
Important: Captured images saved in the Album are always saved in CGM format. The properties you define here have no impact on the format of the image stored in the Album. They are applied to the format you select when using the Save As button. - Click OK to validate.
- Click Capture .
- Click OK if you are satisfied with the
capture, otherwise click Cancel (in that case, you are not
prompted to save or print the captured image).If you click OK, the Capture Preview dialog box is closed and additional dialog boxes might open according to the outputs you selected in the Output Preferences tab.
