Switching Macro Libraries to Edition and Read Only Modes

You can select a macro library and switch it to edition and read only modes.

Before you begin:

You must activate editability.

For more information, see Activate Editability.

If editability is not activated, the switch to Edition and the Switch to Read Only commands will not be available in the macros GUI.

About Macro Editability
  1. From the Tools section of the action bar, click Macros... .
  2. In the Macros dialog box, click Macro libraries....
  3. From the Library type list, select one of the library types available.
  4. To select a macro library, do either of the following:
    • From the Current libraries list, select a macro library.
    • To search for and select a macro library, click Add existing library.
  5. Switch the editability mode of the selected macro library:
    • To switch the selected macro library to edition mode, click Switch to Edition.
    • To switch the selected macro library to read-only mode, click Switch to Read Only.
