In the
top bar,
select
in the list (or press
CTRL+N).
TheNew Content dialog box appears.

Right-click the Tools button
, and
select
Set attributes at creation for all types
option.
The attribute dialog box will appear for any type of object
at creation.
Note:
Alternatively, you can right-click the type of content and
select the
Set attributes at creation
option. The attribute dialog box will automatically
appear for the selected type of content.

Select
Physical Product
in the
Favorites section.
The Physical Product creation dialog box with the attributes to be specified appears.

Verify the design range is set to large range, and click
OK.
The physical product is created in large range. For the
purpose of this scenario, rename the product in
Large Range Product by using the
Properties dialog box.

Right-click the
Large Range Product
, and select
The 3D part is created.

Right-click the 3D part, and select
Properties.
The
Properties dialog box appears.

Under the
Reference tab, enter
Large Range Part
, and click
OK.
The 3D part is renamed accordingly.

To insert a second 3D part in normal range in the large range
product:

Specify the range to
Normal range. For more information, see
Customizing Preferences
The normal range option will be applied to any product
or part at the next run of the creation process and retained as the default
range.

Repeat step 5.
The 3D part is created.

Rename the 3D part in
Normal Range Part.
The large range product combines a 3D part in large range and a 3D
part in normal range.
