Importing a Laminate

You can import the laminate for each created zone that has a defined contour.

Notes:

  • Create an .xls or .xlsx file containing the information required for each laminate. In the following scenario, two zones are created, and their contours defined.

  1. Clear the Prevent creation of laminates out of Composites parameters check box in Composites Parameters.
  2. Double-click a zone without laminate in the tree to edit it.
    • In the Laminate tab, you can see that no laminate is defined.

  3. Click Cancel to close the dialog box.
  4. Create a file containing laminate information for the zones.

Make sure the materials, orientations, and zones you use in this file exist in your model.
