Evaluating a Criteria

You can evaluate a criteria on a product data. The characteristics are generated from the characteristics master that satisfy the criteria definition.

Before you begin: Required access roles:
  • Baseline: Author
  • App-Specific: Product Data Originator
  1. From the Parts page, click the name of the part.
    The properties page for that part appears. For more information, see Parts.
  2. From the category menu, click Characteristics.
  3. Click, to evaluate a criteria.
    Displays a list of characteristics that satisfy the evaluation criteria.

    The characteristics that are mandatory are displayed with .

    Important: If a characteristic evaluated from criteria is associated to a part and the characteristic master of the criteria is revised and released to next stage, the criteria must be evaluated again on the part.
