Specification Properties

This page displays the information about template, specification details, and periodic review. The specification properties page is displayed only if a template is applied to a part, technical specification, or a test method specification.

To access this page:

  • Open a part, technical specification, or test method specification > Specification Properties tab.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Reader, Author, Leader
  • App-Specific: Product Data User, Product Data Originator, Restricted Product Data Originator

ColumnDescription
Template Information
TemplateThe name of template.
RevisionThe revision number of the template.
DescriptionThe description of template.
Specification Details
Render LanguageThe render language information.
StatusDisplays one of the following:
  • Permanent
  • Temporary
Expiration DateThe expiration date of part, technical specification, or test method specification.
Notes:
  • If the status is Permanent, by default the date is Dec 30, 9999.
  • If the status is Temporary, displays the number of days specified on the configuration page.
  • You can change the expiration date if the status is temporary.
Periodic Review
Periodic Review EnabledDisplays one of the following:
  • Yes: If periodic review is enabled.
  • No: If periodic review is not enabled, periodic review information is not displayed.
Periodic Review Interval (In Months)The periodic review interval details.
Subject Matter ExpertThe person assigned for periodic review.
Next Review DateThe next periodic review date.
Last Review DateThe last date on which periodic review was done.
Periodic Review DispositionThis is displayed only after the periodic review is completed by the subject matter expert. For more information, see Completing a Periodic Review.
