Revising Part

You can create a revision of a part to change the values of the attributes and also track the changes that happen with every revision.

Before you begin: Required access roles:
  • Baseline: Author, Leader
  • App-Specific: Product Data Originator, Restricted Product Data Originator
  1. From the page toolbar of properties page, click Create New Revision .
    The Revise Part page appears. For more information, see Creating Part Revisions.

    If template is applied on the previous revision, the latest revision contains the template information, render language, and status details. If status is temporary the expiration date will be reset as 180 days from the current date.

    Note: You can revise a Formulation Part only when it is in Release or Complete state.
  2. Click Done.
