Creating a Section for Report

You can create a section for a report of type image or container. The container type section holds other sections as subsections placed one below the other or next to each other. The image type section displays an image.

Before you begin: Required access roles:
  • Baseline: Owner
  • App-Specific: Template Administrator
  1. From the Templates page, open a template.
  2. From the structure view of templates, open a report for which you want to create a section.

  3. From the page toolbar, click Create Section.

    Enter the following details:

    Field NameDescription
    TypeThe type of section. Select one of the following:
    • Container
    • Image
    Notes:
    • These types are displayed only when you create a section for a report.
    • A container type section can have container as a subsection.
    Image SourceSelect one of the following image sources:
    • Host Company Image: The logo of host company is displayed in the report.
    • Organization Image: The logo of organization is displayed in the report.
    • Image Manager: The primary image that is added to the product data is displayed in the report.
    Note: The field appears if the selected section type is Image.
    TitleThe title of the section.
    Section WidthThe width of the section. Select one of the following:
    • Full
    • Half
    • Third
    Show Section Header Indicates if a section header is visible or not in configurable report view.
    DescriptionThe description of the section.

A section under a report is created.
