What's New

This page describes recent changes in Structural Package Design.

This page discusses:

R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

New Option in the Cutout Command

You can now select the Optimize Geometry option when creating a cutout.
This new option avoids overlapping issues on top or bottom faces.
Benefits: Optimizing the geometry improves the result of the cutout, by taking into consideration impacts on both the top and bottom faces.
For more information, see Creating Cutouts

Library Browser

You can now access Libraries from the Tools section of the action bar.
The library structure and content are delivered as 3dxml files and is provided using ECMA-Standards_LibraryStructure.3dxml and ECMA-Standards_LibraryContent.3dxml located at ../startup/StructuralPackageDesign/ECMACatalog.
Benefits: The 3dxml files that contain catalogs are also available as libraries.
