Classifying Revised Items Using Replace/Insert

You can replace or insert the latest revision of a reference under a chapter.

Required access roles:

Baseline: Leader

Before you begin: Open a chapter in the Design IP Classification app.

  1. Select the reference of your choice either in the Tree or in the 3D.
  2. To replace the reference by another revision, right-click the reference and select Item > Replace by/Insert latest Revision.
    The Reference Revision dialog box appears.
  3. Select Replace selected reference by its latest revision and click OK.
    The selected reference is replaced by its latest revision.
  4. Select Insert latest revision of selected reference under father Catalog and click OK.
    The latest revision of a selected reference is added in the same chapter as the selected reference.
  5. Click Cancel.
    The operation is cancelled.
