Applying Configurations

Once you have exposed the product configurations, you can apply a configuration to a product one at a time.

You can apply configurations when you author or play an experience.

This task shows you how to:

Apply Configurations During an Authoring Session

You can apply configurations during an authoring session.

To apply a configuration, do either of the following:
- In the tree, right-click the configuration, and select Apply Configuration.
- In the Properties panel of the product actor, under General and next to the Current Configuration property, select the configuration you want to apply.
To remove the current configuration, do one of the following:
- In the tree, right-click a configuration and select Unset current configuration.
- In the Properties panel of the product actor, under General and next to the Current Configuration property, select None.

You can apply configurations during a playing session, through Natural Language.

Create a scenario and open it in the Scenario Editor.
Add a paragraph with a valid condition.
Select the product as the action's subject.
In the drivers list, select the set current configuration capacity.
Select the configuration you want to apply during the playing session.
Only exposed configurations are visible in the list.
Optional: To remove an applied configuration, select the remove current configuration capacity.
